Chiaroscuro (Kee ahr uh skyoor oh) – Italian for light and dark. This use of black and silver contrast is both effective and evocative with further drama played out in the visual and actual textures of the metal beads. The beads jostle for attention suspended on black wire and interwoven into a chunky neckpiece. The underside is flatter and smooth so as to sit comfortably around the neck. Stunning for both day and night.

These woven and wonderful neckpieces were first inspired by a button collection Tamara received when her Nana passed. Wanting to show off the beautiful buttons and keep her Nan close to her heart, Tamara experimented with various styles that would showcase, not only the buttons, but other beads, bits and bobs. After many, many hours perfecting the technique the woven pieces were born.

Wire and base metal round beads and disks in sizes ranging from 2mm up to 12mm on black tarnish resistant jewellery wire with a silver metal alloy clasp.

We know you’re eagerly anticipating your order so we have implemented some simple guidelines for our Boutiques to ensure that the order reaches you as quickly as possible whilst ensuring the delivery charges are fair (and sometimes FREE!).

We will keep you informed at every stage of your order. Your order will be confirmed within 1 working day of receiving the order and dispatched within 3 working days unless otherwise stated. Delivery of your order normally takes only a few days to and from metro areas however can take up to 10 working days. Specially made or personalised orders will often take longer so please refer to the delivery guidelines in the product section of the Boutique.

As you receive your order directly from the creative hands of the Boutiques, the delivery times and costs may vary from Boutique to Boutique depending on the size, weight and where the item is being delivered to or from.

It is very rare that our Boutiques cannot complete your order; however if this unfortunate event occurs, your order will be cancelled and you will be issued a refund immediately. We will always endeavor to find and offer you an alternative or similar product.

We do not currently ship orders internationally however please contact us at customerservices {at} littlevillageboutique.com and we will endeavor to help.

Returns

At Little Village Boutique we hope you are delighted with your order. If you aren’t happy with your purchase you can return your product to the Boutique within 14 days for an exchange or 7 days for a refund. Original delivery charges will not be refunded unless the product is faulty and the return delivery charges will be at the expense of the customer unless otherwise stated in the Boutiques product area. You should always check with the Boutique before returning the product to ensure this falls within the specific product refund and exchange policy.

The following types of products will not be provided a refund or exchange unless the product is faulty, not doing what the product supposed to do or significantly differ from what is described to the customer:

  • Custom made, made-to-measure and altered products such as personalised items that are made specifically to a customer’s specification. LVB shall determine in its sole discretion whether a product is or is not a personalised item.
  • Pierced jewellery
  • Personal care merchandise
  • Cosmetics
  • Hosiery
  • Underwear
  • Swimwear
  • Perishable items such as food and flowers

All items eligible for a refund or exchange must comply with the following conditions:

  • All items must be returned in their original unused condition - undamaged and unopened, including the outer packaging
  • Customers should return the goods at their own expense, notifying us by requesting a return in the 'My Account' area
  • All orders remain the liability of the customer until received by the Boutique – please retain proof of postage and postal insurance is recommended

Faulty/Defective Item

If you wish to return an item that you believe is faulty or defective, please let us know within 14 days of delivery. The Boutique will refund in full your postage costs for the particular product. You will be offered a full refund, exchange or credit note – the choice is up to you.
